Enoteca Bonfanti Ristorante

On our last evening in Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Upon entering, we had to look closely because the restaurant area was hidden behind the bar. Fabio was our host and welcomed us to the restaurant. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes served are clearly prepared with love. Besides the menu items, there was also the opportunity to customize the dishes to your liking. We could share the appetizer, and for our son, we could order the classic pasta carbonara, which wasn't on the menu. Fabio recommended a delicious wine to pair with the pasta and provided helpful explanations about the flavors and the region's origins. The food was delicious, flavorful, and neatly presented. The staff checked regularly to make sure everything was to our liking without being intrusive. The dessert menu made choosing so much difficult because everything looked so delicious! Finally, we had an espresso and an ice-cold limoncello on the house. The price-quality ratio was excellent in our opinion. The price of a glass of wine or a beer was a bit high, but it's a choice whether or not to have it. We did and we absolutely didn't regret it. We certainly ate cheaper, but for the food we enjoyed, the bill was certainly not excessive. As a complimentary dessert, we were treated to a beautiful view. This restaurant is definitely recommended. Reservations are recommended! We truly had a wonderful evening.
