The Eclipse Restaurant is a must visit when you are in Cagliari. Fantastic service and fantastic food. The owner and chef is front and centre to explain each dish and how he prepares and cooks it. He also expertly matched a wine to suit the food we had. The food is exceptional and the service matches. The great team at Eclipse make this place you need to out on you Cagliari list of food places to visit.
Eclipse was recommended to us by a tour guide in Alghero and we are glad we followed his advice!

I went in because I saw a sign that said €10 for a board and drink (combined). I was one person, so the woman said that she could not make it for one. I said I’ll just have the drink then, so she went back and asked the chef again and said they could accommodate me and just use less food. So any normal person would assume that since it’s less food, it will be either the same price as before or less. They charged me €22, and when I said that doesn’t make sense because they said they could accommodate me and that it was less food than before, the woman just said it was meant for two people. Well, if it is €10 per person, why is it €22 for me. They were rue after that, did not lower the price, and overcharged me a crazy amount. Awful service. I will not be going back.
Salve Kiley ci dispiace che la sua permanenza da noi sia partita male già dall’inizio. Abbiamo cercato di spiegarle in varie lingue che la promo da 10€ scelta da lei, non fosse per regola aziendale, opzionabile per una persona, ma minimo per 2.
Le abbiamo spiegato che potevamo farle uno dei nostri taglieri pensato per due persone, per una persona singola, ma che questo non includeva nulla ( a differenza della promo che lei avrebbe gradito consumare.
Ci sembrava che ci fossimo capiti, anche in cassa, ma leggendo la recensione cosi non è.
Ci dispiace tantissimo e le auguriamo una buona serata.

Perfect under every aspect! The food is stunning, well prepared with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection and well presented. The service was spotless and what made my visit unforgettable. Super friendly, welcoming and attentive. I will definitely go back when I’m in town!

Amazing!! The fried culurgiones were incredible - a very inventive take on a traditional dish. The Pistachio Party pasta was a great choice as well! The pistachio was subtle, and the flavor was perfetto! The ambiance was really nice and cozy, all of the staff was very attentive and kind. Would definitely go back!

The food doesn’t reflect the ratings of this place. The staff is nice, however three out of four pasta dishes were inedible and the shrimp tartare will haunt me for many months to come. Fried calamari were fine, but nothing special. There are far better dinner options in Cagliari than this restaurant.
