We were served by friendly helpful staff who knew enough English for us to get by, use Google translate for anything tricky!
We had a delicious Lisa beer which is 5% so not too strong.
With that we enjoyed the best pizza you ever had! Stone baked and fresh, such a light pizza with a delicious topping and not expensive at all ,a variety available between 9 and 11 euros.
Tipping isn't normal in Italy but you can of choice ( politeness?)
We did because they deserved it.
Our visit was evening and it was still warm outside ( July 2026)
Great restaurant, look it up if you are in the area.
This was my first meal in Italy, and it couldn’t have been a better start to the trip.
The cacio e pepe was fantastic, rich and full of flavor, with plenty of cheese. The mortadella pizza was equally amazing. Everything we ordered was excellent, and I only wish I had enough room to try more dishes.
A special shout-out to the cool bearded gentleman on the staff (sorry I didn’t get your name). He was exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout my visit.
Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in Rome!

We had an amazing dinner at Don Donà! Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding, the hospitality was exceptional, and the atmosphere, lighting, and interior design made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of the evening was that the chef personally came to our table to greet us and make sure everything was perfect. That personal touch made us feel truly welcome.
I absolutely fell in love with the gnocchi salad, it was unique and incredibly delicious. The steak was one of the best I've ever had: perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, juicy, and obviously made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They also serve a unique homemade bread that was absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back!
Excellent first meal in Rome - definitely recommend for anyone staying around the social hub and in the area - loved the hospitality and cultural understandings from Francesca and Donato who were an absolute delight !
