Cafezal Brunch & Specialty Coffee - Porta Venezia

Overpriced with confusing pricing. The €25 brunch set can be a good deal if you choose the most expensive items, but with other choices, ordering separately can actually be cheaper. That makes the idea of a "set" quite misleading. The coffee refill also only applies to Americano, which wasn't clear. We also expected to pay €50 for two sets, but were charged €54 because of an extra €2 per person for cutlery and napkins. This fee was listed separately in the menu, but it wasn't clear that it would be added on top of the set price. The food itself was quite average and definitely not worth the price. Overall, overpriced and unnecessarily confusing.

Great place!

A local coffeeshop offering a wide range of single origin coffee beans prepared as pour over and more! They also have a decent number of batch brewed coffees and make any espresso drink that typical cafes make! This place has many tables suitable for a work from cafe day, and the coffee tastes really good, and it makes it a nice place for a date! Last but not least, the staff are super kind and enthusiastic about the ethos of this coffeeshop. All in all, this is a great place to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee. These folks have a few other stores across the city! However, right next to this store they have a store that sells coffee making items.

They forgot about my food and I waited an hour and half for my food. And they only offer 1 free croissant as sorry. That’s not sorry 🥴🥴

Bad service

We went for Saturday brunch. Their special drinks were pretty good. The food quality was acceptable. However the service was awful, they forgot one drink, and messed of two of the orders. I think if the service was good it is a nice place but service is not up to the food.
