The restaurant manager was rude and racist. She treated us bad with respect to the other guests with clear discrimination. I don’t recommend this place to Muslims or people who are not European in origin.
My reply to the restaurant’s response:
Instead of seeing the restaurant management team apologising for the bad treatment that we experienced from the restaurant manager, they called the facts happened ‘allegations’. What we experienced was a fact. The restaurant manager did not accept us in the restaurant. She was rude enough to talk to us while she was looking somewhere else. At the same time, she was welcoming and smiling at other guests.
For the restaurant management, you can count how many times other reviewers mentioned that the restaurant manager is a rude person. We experienced another dimension of her toxic personality which is racism. I will never go to any da Michele pizzeria branch in Italy and beyond as they don’t respect their customers or address their concerns/complaints.

Really bad hospitality !
We have just entered the shop and found the cashier girl that wasn’t welcoming to us at all.
She was avoiding talking to us , really she was very weird.

Our Host (a local to Rome) recommended this spot and considered it one of the best places for pizza in the area... It. Did. Not. Dissapoint. The pizza sauce... phenomenal! Try the Don Luigi as well...so simple, yet so delicious 😋
