My wife and I enjoyed everything - beautiful outdoor dining with an aged wisteria as a canopy and a superb view of the Erba valley. We started with the Rustic Bresola and Artichoke Salad. When we requested additional arugula for our salad, the waitress responded quickly and with a positive attitude. First course was the Radicchio Risotto which was tasty. Our second course was the Grilled Veal Cutlet which was also delicious and well prepared as requested. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was astonishing. A must place visit while in the Erba/Como area.

Extremely disappointing experience. The service was slow, inattentive, and at times outright rude. We waited over 15 minutes for basic requests, and instead of an apology, we were met with dismissive responses like “I’m busy, give me a minute.” The waitress bumped into our chair twice — startling us — and walked off without a word.
Despite charging high-end prices (30+ euros per person), the service felt unprofessional and careless. While other tables that arrived later were served promptly, we were left waiting — even for something as simple as bread. When we finally received our food, it wasn’t even cooked as requested.
This was not just poor service — it was a complete lack of respect for the customer. Definitely not an experience I’d recommend or repeat.
In a small town with peasant origins like ours, they say “you reap what you sow”. The numerous reviews about our restaurant and our staff are the best response to this opinion.
