We went there a few days ago, and asked for a table for 2. There were only a few people at the restaurant but they asked us if it was okay that we sat like 20 meters down the road, same restaurant same staff but different location, and we were like okay yes. We were sat in a completely empty restaurant which felt kind of weird like we were shut out, the other restaurant wasn’t even full we could’ve just sat there with the other people. Menu was online which is always a minus point. Food was good though. While we waited for the food a different waiter came up to us and started talking to us and we told him that we don’t speak Italian, polite of course, and then he said he doesn’t speak English and started typing on his phone, language translater. He showed us his phone and it said he likes to talk and socialize. And what do you respond to that. I said how are we supposed to talk when we don’t understand eachother and he was confused because he doesn’t speak English. Then he tried to start small talk but we couldn’t understand eachother. He went inside after a few minutes. The whole situation was kind of odd because we are 2 young women traveling alone. I think if we were 2 men he wouldn’t have talked to us. It’s just kind of odd to be brought into this situation because we just wanted to eat and enjoy our time alone. I don’t know if he wanted to make friends but there has to be a line not overstepped by a waiter especially with young women. Women don’t have a lot of spaces they feel safe in already and a restaurant or hotel has to be a safe space where we don’t feel like we are getting approached by men. There has to be a professionalism. Food was good. Service could be improved.

If you are in the area DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER PASTA PLACE! Everything else is overpriced garbage. This is the only good pasta place in the area. Great interior of photos from old movies
