Pizza alla Pala

Pizza alla pala serves Roman-style pizza with a broad selection of focaccia, fritti, tavola calda and hot side dishes. The style is informal and practical, with a setting that feels clean, relaxed and suitable for a quick meal or an easy stop in the area.

The most appreciated specialties are the pizza alla pala, including classic combinations such as capricciosa and anchovies with cheese, together with the supplì and other fried items. The kitchen is described as light and well made, with a varied counter that makes the place recognizable for its simple Roman takeaway tradition.

Its main strengths are the variety, the lightness of the pizza and the overall convenience of a casual pizzeria and rotisserie on Via della Stazione Ostiense.
